Ready to leave?

You can request removal without an email address. Deletion requests are private and never appear in the office.

If you can sign in

1. Open the office. Use your signed-in browser, or enter your handle and password if you have set one.
2. Open your avatar/account button in the top right, then select Delete account.
3. Re-enter your Tiny Chaos password (or confirm your handle if you have not set a password yet) and press Request deletion. Keep the request reference shown.

Your account remains usable while the request is pending. Return to the same account panel to see the reference or cancel the request. The operator reviews requests in a private queue and aims to complete them within 28 days.

If you cannot sign in

Send a DM from your matching Instagram account to @tinychaosinc saying “Delete my Tiny Chaos account @your_handle”. We may ask for proportionate ownership verification. Never send your password or private recovery key in a comment or DM. If a request is overdue, contact the same account with your request reference.

What goes

Completion permanently removes your live account, public handle and character, saved position, password and recovery hashes, sessions, verification information, and account-linked audit and request records. Your browser will be signed out. Imported comments for your handle are removed and recorded decisions lose your authorship. Shared office changes may remain without your name.

A Founding Board number is retired, and cannot be recovered by making a new account. All active sessions are closed, including other open tabs.

Backups and Instagram

Restricted backups can retain older copies for up to 30 days and completed deletions must be reapplied before restoring service. Instagram content is separate: deleting this account does not remove your Instagram comments or DMs. Contact @tinychaosinc about identity shown in Tiny Chaos-controlled posts or videos.
